I bought the red/brown because I liked the color, but ended up liking the ink just as much for its excellent flow and smoothness in pens that usually have skipping issues. It's just a beautiful ink that makes writing a pleasure and behaves well in a variety of pens.

Sailor Blue Black is an ideal ink from a number of perspectives. The color is unique and appealing, it dries fast, and "behaves" well (ie: it's easy to clean up after, doesn't stain barrels, etc etc). I've tried over 30 inks to this point, and Sailor Blue Black easily makes the top five.
