A Great Ink October 11, 2008
Reviewer: Peter The Plumber from Redford, MI United States
I have a Lamy 2000 w/a fine nib that uses Noodlers black, never a problem. The pen gets used somewhat infrequently but it always starts w/o hesitation with this ink. It does have a little nib creep, but it's not something that creates any problems. The writing is clean and crisp on any paper it's benn used on. I have so far not needed to clean the pen to clear up any problems, matter of fact this pen has never been cleaned. Note to self.............

One of the best! July 30, 2008
Reviewer: Jim Ross-FPN Handlebar from Vancouver, WA United States
Noodlers produce some of the best colurs on the market!! Their lineup is a delight and the competition don't come close in available colours. Yes,they are viscous enough that sometimes nib creep can happen depending on the pen and feed system. But that is a small consequence to pay.
I only wish more were available at pen shoppes off the shelf instead of having to always order online.
All in all, a great brand.

My favourite inks July 23, 2008
Reviewer: Nellie
Noodler's regular (and also 'bulletproof', but that's a different topic) inks are the best there are in my opinion, because you get an unbelievably wide range of colours AND they are ALL (apart from the new Baystate inks) archival, i.e. they don't ever fade away like most inks made by other companies do.
These inks are very saturated, giving you a rich, clear line and there is less feathering and bleedthrough with these inks (especially Black) than with others.
It should be mentioned that the regular Noodler's inks that are reviewed here do NOT give you 'nib creep' (the phenomenon that the ink 'creeps' out of the nib slit and covers your nib).
Although I almost exclusively use Noodler's ink, however, I have to name one disadvantage: Some of the inks, e.g. Ottoman Azure, Widow Maker and Blue, are a bit slow to dry and if you use them in a very free-flowing pen one some papers, they can smear even after they have dried. This can be avoided by diluting the ink with a bit of water.
