Lamy Studio Fountain Pen in Pearl White July 23, 2008

The Pearl White is by far the most attractive and unique version of the Lamy Studio. Photos do not do it justice. The finish is shimmery, resembling the sparkle of fresh snow. The texture of the lacquer is smooth and warm to the touch. It is durable, scratch-resistant and stain resistant. The gripping section on this pen is metal, but comfortable.  Size, weight and balance are just right; this is an extremely ergonomic design with which one can comfortably write for hours. The 14K gold nib is soft and wonderfully smooth, but writes a wider line than its steel nib counterpart.  The Studio is a reliable writer, with no flow problems. I highly recommend this beautiful limited edition of a classic pen.
