Fun and functional, the Lamy Al-Star takes its shape from Lamy's classic Safari line. It is made from lightweight durable aluminum and engineered to demanding specifications. This pen is designed to feel great in your hand. Its unique design features a flexible brass wire clip and comfort molded grip section.

The Al-Star's stainless steel nib is available in extra fine, fine, medium, or broad.

The Lamy Al-Star requires either Lamy ink cartridge T10 or ink converter Z24, which are sold separately.

A Great Pen October 11, 2008

I have a Lamy Al-Star with multiple nib that uses Noodlers black. Wow! It glides over the paper with just the slightest hint of resistance. Perfect for me. I don't personally use this pen but I steal it now and then, it's that good. I prefer to leave the cap off, otherwise it feels top heavy to me. Any way I look at this; except styling; this is a perfect pen. I prefer the more traditional style, almost art deco style. But as I mentioned, I steal this in the dark of night just to scribble with it.
