Fountain Pen Ink Samples |

I have wanted to switch to bottled inks, but was always worried that I'd buy an ink color and not like it. I am not very trusting of how an ink color looks on a computer screen!
Now that I've found I can sample inks I took my first step to switching away from cartridges. I can't wait to try out some colors and find an ink that suits my personality.
Thanks for this great feature!

Ted Phipps from Dale City, VA United States: your review did not help me. I thought I would get a sufficient fill on my Pilot VP; not the case. It is just enough to dip the pen. The samples are sufficient to get the feel of the ink and gauge its color. I would suggest this as an alternative to online reviews and relying on others word. Use them as a way of narrowing down your choices and use this to further drill down into what you desire. Good luck & happy discovering!!

Great way to try out new inks |

Before I found these samplers, I wasted a lot of money on bottles of ink I thought I'd like from pictures/scans, but was disappointed when I actually tried them. The little glass bottles are great for re-use as traveling inkpots. There's enough ink to get a good feel for each ink, and there's a great range of colors from which to choose. I highly recommend this sampler.

I would never have gotten into bottled inks without this option. How fantastic to be able to try out colors first, from such a huge array of options. The little bottles are very well-packaged, and it's great to be able to experiment. So far colors have turned out very differently than I've expected, and I'm completely addicted to this system. Can't lose!
