De Atramentis bottled ink is manufactured Dr. Franz-Josef Jansen. Dr. Jansen runs a gallery in Hardert, Germany
for Asian art and everything else to make a calligrapher's heart jump, including a huge variety of handmade fountain pen inks. Dr. Jansen's De Atramentis brand offers traditional handmade fountain pen inks, as well as a smorgasbord of special and scented inks,
made using recipes from different eras. De Atramentis also produces many specialty inks, dedicated to "teacher and pupil", "cities", "holidays"
and even mystical themes like "witches, sorcerers and demons".
The Christmas Edition Inks contain seasonal scents, combined with wonderful De Atramentis colors. The Royal Blue Christmas Edition Ink is infused with the scent of Marzipan; the Dark Brown contains the wonderful aroma of freshly-brewed coffee. De Atramentis Christmas Ink for Well-Behaved Kids is a green fountain pen ink with the comforting scent of a fir tree.
