The Ideal Small Notebook |

Clairefontaine paper is ideal for fountain pen use. It's very smooth, yet absorbent enough to promote reasonable drying times (depending, of course, on the ink you're using).
I've found this notebook perfect for jotting down story ideas. It would also serve well as a journal, a means to record data, etc etc. Generally, an ideal medium for writing down information that is more important than what you'd put in a standard wire-bound notebook.
As an added benefit, I've found the gloss cover impervious to moisture. Granted, you can't submerge the whole book, but if you spill something on the cover, it will bead off (as opposed to soaking in, which is the case with almost any other notebook).
