Aurora's inks take after the fantastic fountain pen maker and they are very good products. All their colors are very solid, non problematic inks that yield excellent results on all papers, but I'd like to remark that the Black is a classic and one of the blackest blacks in the market.

I've tried many brands of black, but keep coming back to Aurora.

Aurora Black is the ink I use in pens with poor ink flow. It makes stingy writers into generous writers. The black color is velvety, alive, and deep. This is by far my favorite black ink.

Aurora Blue, A Solid Blue |

Aurora inks are widely regarded as some of the best. I have yet to try the much lauded Aurora black, but have sampled the Aurora blue.
It's a fine color, what I would call a true royal blue (ie: a vibrant blue hinting, just hinting, at purple). The flow and lubrication are average.
Peartree's price for Aurora is actually quite competitive (most places charge $12 or more). Still, I prefer Visconti blue, and at $7.50 each for the plastic 50mL bottles, it really is a bargain.
